Something happened? Here's exactly what to do
Two numbers, one checklist, no run-around. Report it as soon as it's safe to; early reporting genuinely affects the outcome.
Report a motor claim
For all motor insurance claims: car, van, taxi, motorbike and fleet.
Report a liability claim
For public liability, employers' liability and professional indemnity claims.
What to have ready
- Your policy number
- Date, time and location of the incident
- What happened, in your own words
- Names and contact details of any other parties involved
- Registration numbers of any vehicles involved
- Details of any witnesses
- Photos of the damage, if you have them
- A crime reference number, if the police were involved
